Undergraduate - Mnemology Lab

DUKE UNIVERSITY

1. INDEPENDENT STUDIES (FOR CREDIT OR HONORS)

Independent study in Junior or Senior year: specific project supervised by Dr. Cabeza (More on independent study). For independent studies, the application process should begin well before the beginning of the term, as a brief proposal must be submitted and the student enrolled in the Independent Study before classes start.
Graduation with Distinction: research project is reported in a thesis (More on graduating with distinction)

2. WORK-STUDY

For students with financial needs, or those who assist the lab for a substantial amount of time
Students eligible for Duke or Federal Work-Study financial aid are especially encouraged to apply
~$17.00 per hour depending on duties and experience

INDIANA UNIVERSITY

1. HUTTON HONORS COLLEGE

For Freshman or Sophomore students who wish to gain experience in a cognitive neuroscience laboratory.
Research experience supervised by Dr. Davis (More on the Hutton). The application process for Hutton should begin well before the beginning of the term.

2. INDEPENDENT STUDY/THESIS

For Junior or Senior students who which to build towards a specific scientific project or publication.
Independent study project supervised by Dr. Davis (More on the Honors Thesis). For independent studies, the application process should begin well before the beginning of the term, as a brief proposal must be submitted and the student enrolled in the Capstone/Honors course before classes start.

3. WORK-STUDY

For students with financial needs, or those who assist the lab for a substantial amount of time
Students eligible for Federal Work-Study financial aid (More on the Work-Study) are especially encouraged to apply
~$12.00 per hour depending on duties and experience

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum GPA: 3.6

· Minimum time per week: 10 hours
